Feel it before you order it
Paper is the one thing a screen cannot show you. The Index is our swatch book: one page per stock, printed on that stock, so you can hold the 200gsm your capability statement will be on, flick to the 420gsm your cards will be on, and pass the whole thing around the office. Order it here and we post it, or collect it from the shop.
What's in it
Twenty-seven stocks, each page labelled with the type, the weight and what we use it for. Satin from 113gsm up to 420gsm. Uncoated from 100gsm letterhead through to 400gsm greeting and loyalty cards. Recycled at 150, 200, 250 and 350gsm. Synthetic at 150, 200 and 280 microns for the things that get wet or torn. Vinyl labels in gloss and matte, and paper labels in vellum, gloss and matte. The pages are ordered so the weight climbs as you turn them, which is the quickest way to learn what a gsm number feels like.
Who it's for
Anyone choosing between two stocks and not wanting to guess. Office managers specifying a brand refresh, designers signing off a client job, a business picking the paper for its first capability statement. If you are deciding between a satin and an uncoated, or a 300 and a 350, this settles it in a minute.

What happens next
We post packs the next business day. When you have picked your stock, order the job on the product page, or send us what you are printing and we will tell you which page of The Index it belongs on.
