Frequently Asked Questions About Signage & Banner Printing in Perth
What is corflute and when should I use it?
What is corflute and when should I use it?
Corflute is corrugated plastic sheeting - 3mm or 5mm thick, lightweight, rigid and weatherproof, which is why it's the standard for real-estate boards, site signage, event directional signs and election corflutes. 3mm suits short-term and indoor use; 5mm stands up to wind and repeated outdoor deployment. It's also light enough to hang, zip-tie or screw without special fixings.
What size are a-frame signs?
What size are a-frame signs?
Our standard a-frames take 600 x 900mm panels. Insert-style frames let you swap printed panels as offers change; fixed-panel frames are sturdier for a permanent message. If you need a size outside the standard, contact us about a bespoke option. Check your local council's footpath rules before settling on a size - and if you tell us where it's standing, we'll recommend the right one.
What are vinyl banners and how are they finished?
What are vinyl banners and how are they finished?
Vinyl banners are printed on heavy PVC banner material with hemmed edges and metal eyelets, ready to zip-tie or rope to fencing, scaffolding or frames. They roll up for transport and reuse, which makes them the right call for recurring events - print once, deploy every time.
Will outdoor signage fade?
Will outdoor signage fade?
Our signage is printed with UV inks, which dry instantly and can be displayed outdoors for up to 2 years without fading. Add a polymeric laminate to the surface and it's UV resistant for up to 5 years. For signage at the longer end of that range - or anything in harsh, full-sun placement - tell us the location when you order and we'll spec the laminate to suit.
What size can signage be?
What size can signage be?
Signage is largely custom-sized - corflute sheets and banner material are cut to the job, so the right starting point is the space it's going into, not a standard size chart. Measure the fence, wall or frame first, then send us the dimensions with your artwork brief; we'll advise if the size affects material choice or fixing.
