You hand us your brand once. After that, anyone in your firm emails an order and it turns up, matching everything we've printed for you before. One contact at Tako, no minimum order, and one invoice on terms that suit how your firm pays. That's print management. Here's how it works day to day, what it costs, and how to start.
What is print management?
A standing arrangement instead of a string of one-off orders. Your artwork, your paper and finishes, and every job we've done for you live with us. Heather is your contact. You order by email whenever you need something, and we bill you the way your firm likes to be billed, not with a card payment every time. It's built for firms where the paperwork never stops: new starters, reprints, letterhead, packs for a pitch.
Is it only for big companies?
No. Most of the firms on it are five to twenty-five people: law firms, accountants, practices, recruiters. If you print more than a couple of times a year and someone has to chase it every time, you're exactly who it's for.
Who can place an order?
Anyone you nominate. Your office manager, a partner, the person who runs reception. They email Heather what they need and that's their whole job. They don't need to know paper weights, dig out a company card, or put in a claim afterwards, because ordering and billing are kept separate. The person who orders never handles payment.
Is there a minimum order?
No. If you need fifty with-compliments slips, order fifty. Because your artwork is already on file, a small run is as easy for us as a large one, so you're never pushed into ordering more than you'll use, and nothing sits in a cupboard going out of date.
What do you keep on file?
Everything we'd otherwise have to ask you for again. Your artwork and templates. The paper and finish you use for each item. The quantities you usually take. Every job we've printed for you, so a reorder is matched to the last one and a new starter's card matches the rest of the team. If your brand changes, tell us once and everything after that follows.
How does billing work?
One invoice, on terms that fit your firm. Monthly is the usual: a month's worth of cards, letterhead and the odd reprint arrives as one line for your accounts, not six card receipts for someone to reconcile. You set the terms up once with us and never think about it again.
What does it cost?
Nothing to set up, and no fee for the account. You pay for what you print, at the same prices you'd see on our website. What you save is everything around the order: the time chasing quotes, the reimbursement claims, the over-ordering to hit someone's minimum, and the wrong card because a new person had to guess.
What does a month look like?
For a firm of about fifteen, something like this.
| What came in | What happened |
|---|---|
| A new starter's name and title, emailed by the office manager | Card set up from the template, proof approved, boxed in a few days |
| "Letterhead's running low" | Reprinted to match the last run, delivered |
| A tender due Friday | Twenty capability statements, proofed Tuesday, collected Thursday |
| End of month | One invoice, three lines |
How do we start?
Email Heather with your artwork, or tell us who has it, and a note on what you print most. We set the file up, confirm your paper and finishes and how you'd like to be billed, and from then on it's one email per job. If business cards are the thing you print most, here's how we handle a whole team's cards, and the print management page has the short version of all of this.
Email Heather to set your firm up, or call 08 6107 6756 and we'll take it from there.
